A New American Dictator?

He appears to be working towards that.  Venezuelans have voted to scrap the term limits on re-election, clearing the way for President Hugo Chavez to stay in power until he’s voted out of office.  With no term limits and the right political machine, a person can stay in office for a life time.  Chavez wouldn’t be the first dictator in the Americas.  Latin America has spawned many of them.  Argentina, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Haiti, Nicaragua are some of the countries who have weathered dictatorships.  Is Venezuela joining their ranks?
