Heavenly Treasures

“Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Sell your possessions, and give alms.  Make purses for yourselves that do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Luke 12:32-34

This caught my eye like a sparkling gem in the sand because I, just 2 days ago, pulled out a play I’ve written for our church Christmas program and it’s titled “Fear not, little Flock”. Pretty thrilling.

It has two themes, one that it’s the Father’s good pleasure to give us the kingdom through Jesus birth and two, the joy of those people recorded in the new testament that got to see his birth before their own passing….Anna the Prophetess and Simeon come to mind.

Good job on keeping the “Island” afloat, LOL.

Thank you for the love pat. I’m glad you were blessed with this bit of Scripture.
