October 6th, 2008. Filed under: Monday's Musings.It’s not stopping, folks. The New York Times just reported that the Dow is down 700 points and Standard & Poor’s is down 7.7%. The Dow has lost more than 1,100 points — or about 10 percent — in slightly more than a week. The S. & P. has lost more than 15 percent in the same period.
