The Promise of Morning

New historical romance set on the Illinois frontier in 1840s:
When loss breaks her heart, can she find the courage to go on?
***Special thanks to Donna Hausler of Revell Books for sending me a review copy.***
This book can touch a person on many levels. It’s a story about a woman who is having a difficult time coping with the loss of her babies. She just cannot let go of her grief and be thankful for the husband and children she still has.
Compounding this is a fear of those she loves leaving her. It’s happened before. Will it happen again?
Add in a husband who has is going to have to travel with his job, a town newcomer with romance on the mind, a beloved aunt who puts her marriage in jeopardy and we have a frontier soap opera. Will Ellie find the strength to make the right choices for herself and her family?
Watch for the surprise twist near the end. It still warms my heart.
Another thing. I just can’t seem to get away from that box of tissue. Have a hankie handy.

Thank you for reviewing The Promise of Morning. I loved that twist at the end, too. I sourced a picture from the internet for that character, and kept it just to look at. 🙂
