Facing Fay
August 18th, 2008. Filed under: Monday's Musings.This is just a short post to let you know that I will not be back on the island until after Fay has passed. I’m in the midst of preparations to get the money pit ready to meet whatever happens. It’s unlikely that I will stay in the area. I am in an evacuation zone that is first on the list to be ordered out. I prefer to get in my little Insight and run rather than to hunker down in a shelter. Talk to you again when I can.

Nancy I pray you and your money pit make it through the storms safe.
Maybe you should come back to Indiana 🙂 We just get tornados and floods LOL

Thank you, Nova. At least we get a little more notice with hurricanes than with tornados. Indiana is also blessed with lots of cold and snow, so I would have to think long and hard before moving up north again. ;p
