Chessmaster and FBI consultant Artemis Blythe is confronted by a case that tests her genius like nothing before…

The troubled son of a close friend is found hanging above the gunshot body of his girlfriend. The police claim it’s an open and shut murder-suicide.

But Artemis Blythe isn’t nearly so certain.

She travels to Chicago, on behalf of her friend, to investigate the scene of the crime. Late night excursions into historic homes, run-ins with questionable detectives, and a pattern of violence buried under a pile of caution tape leads Artemis to her most harrowing conclusion yet.

But even across state lines, her reputation as the Ghost-killer’s daughter follows her, and Artemis is faced with a life-altering choice.

ISLAND BREEZES

Artemis Blythe. Her father is a mentalist and taught her everything he knew. He was also a serial killer. Did he kill her older sister?

Artemis gets caught up in helping the FBI solve murders. Now they want her to be an official consultant.

She prefers chess. She’s a master looking at both national and international championships. This is more up her line than dealing with sociopaths.

This book is a stand alone read but you’ll get much more out of it if you read the first two books in the series – She Dies Tonight and She Hides Forever.

Georgia Wagner worked as a ghost writer for many, many years before finally taking the plunge into self-publishing. Location and character are two big factors for Georgia, and getting those right allows the story to flow seamlessly onto the page. And flow it does, because Georgia is so prolific a new term is required to describe the rate at which nerve-tingling stories find their way into print.

When not found attached to a laptop, Georgia likes spending time in local arboretums, among the trees and ponds. An avid cultivator of orchids, begonias, and all things floral, Georgia also has a strong penchant for art, paintings, and sculptures. A many-decades long passion for mystery novels and years of chess tournament experience makes Georgia the perfect person to pen the Artemis Blythe series.
