    Thank you so much for this win!

    I’ve read the book and appreciate the fact that it incorporates a bit of prayer here and there and some trust in God.

    So many authors leave this out OR use too much and make it uncomfortable.

    I must admit I didn’t know about the Germans in Michigan or the barons of the old country nor the raging fire. The history lesson was a bonus.

    Didn’t care for alll the sadness, yet well written and I couldn’t put it down for wanting to know how it ended.

    I’m so glad you enjoyed the book. I really appreciate historical fiction, because I learn so much.
