Now my Mennonite cookbooks have joined hands with an Amish friend who’s been invited to live in harmony on my cookbook shelf.
The Amish Family Cookbook is more than just a cookbook. It overflows with recipes, Amish proverbs, Amish humor and snippets from Jerry Eicher’s books.
I’ve gotten lost in this book and just don’t want to put it down. Right now I’m debating what I want to make first. Maybe Pork Chops Ole’ or Sunday Pot Roast or maybe Sticky Bones or . . .
