A young widow school teacher and a rancher with a limp and past sorrows he can’t shake. What’s a nurse doing teaching school, anyway?
Scripture tells us a child will lead them. Does that happen with these two?
This is the second book in the Lone Star Legend Series. While it would be nice to read the first book, Beautiful Bandit, before reading Maverick Heart, it’s not necessary. This is a good stand alone read.
